Two 19th century cutters
Two cutters. a cutter was small and fast, much used for scouting and subsiduary services.

French ship of the line
A 'Temeraire' class 74 gun ship of the line. Many of these ships were captured by the British in the latter part of the eighteenth century. In spite of this a contempory British historian said of one of them; 'It was not only the biggest... but also the most beautiful that we have seen... and could be manoeuvred like a frigate'.
