 Kissel Golden Bug, 1929. This stunningly beautiful convertible was powered by a six-cylinder 4.3 litre engine. This was the last model Kissel produced. By the end of 1930 the coming world economic crisis forced the factory to close for good. |
 Cadillac. Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac was a French explorer. In 1701 he built a settlement in Michigan called the 'Ville d'Etroit. This later became Detroit, and Martin Leland started a small car factory there in 1902. He named his company the 'Cadillac Automobile Company', after the French explorer. By 1909 Cadillac was part of General Motors. This convertible with a V8 engine is from 1928.
